Doggy Base was created to provide a calmer, more thoughtful alternative to traditional daycare.

We focus on balance rather than constant activity — dogs are guided through structured social time, rest and enrichment so they feel comfortable and settled throughout the day.
Every dog is different. Some are confident, some are cautious, and many are still learning. Our role is to support them at their own pace so daycare remains a positive experience, not an overwhelming one.
Our environment is designed to feel predictable and secure, helping dogs understand what to expect and relax into the routine.
Since opening in 2022, we’ve welcomed dogs who benefit from gentle introductions, smaller interactions and consistent handling — not just endless play.
The goal is simple: dogs leave content, and owners come home to a calmer companion.

Doggy Base offers a calm, structured environment designed to support dogs socially and emotionally throughout the day.
We focus on balance, dogs are guided through activity, rest and enrichment so they leave settled rather than overstimulated.

Introductions
Before joining daycare, all dogs attend a short induction with their owner present.
This visit allows your dog to explore the environment calmly, meet the team and become familiar with the space before attending independently.
Dogs do not interact with other daycare dogs during the induction.
We focus on helping them feel safe and comfortable first.
The session lasts around 30 minutes and prepares them for a smooth first stay.

A calm first visit helps dogs settle much quicker when they return.
Our Routine
Throughout the day dogs rotate between:
• supervised social time
• rest periods
• enrichment activities
This prevents overtired behaviour and helps dogs settle calmly at home.
